Have you tried Ask Tech? Your 24/7 Ð԰ɵç̨ IT assistant in Microsoft Teams

In September, Ð԰ɵç̨’s Digital and Technology (D&T) directorate launched Ask Tech, a chatbot integrated directly into Microsoft Teams. 

If you haven’t tried it yet, simply go to the Microsoft Teams app and look for Ask Tech. It should appear in your list of apps on the sidebar of Teams. If it doesn't, you can add it in just a few clicks. Follow the  for details. 

To start using Ask Tech for the first time, just type the word ‘Hi’. There's more information in the Busy Person's guide about interacting with the chatbot.

Ask Tech complements Ð԰ɵç̨’s current services by providing students and staff with a quick, additional source of information about their IT queries.  

The system operates around the clock, which is particularly useful for getting help outside standard office hours. 

The service will be continuously developed with enhancements based on user feedback, which you can provide using a .

The new chatbot forms part of the university’s Digital Transformation Strategy, which aims to deliver modern, digitally inclusive approaches.
